Top reactions and controversies
The "it's going to get cancelled anyway" reflex
Dominant takeThe most shared theme: commenters instantly compare the announcement to KOTOR Remake, Eclipse, 1313 or Battlefront 3, all left unfinished, and expect this one to be shelved too.
Nostalgia for the Old Republic
Dominant takeMany express genuine joy at seeing the KOTOR universe again, speculate about the Leviathan ship, HK-47 or Bastila, and welcome Casey Hudson's involvement.
The demand for character creation
Dominant takeA recurring wish across both periods: being able to create and customize one's own hero, as in the original KOTOR games, rather than a fixed protagonist.
